Aside from the incentives provided by the Board of Investment under the Omnibus Incentives Code of the Philippines, the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental will extend incentives to investors who will qualify under the Davao Oriental Investment Incentives Code of 1995.
Meanwhile, some of the provisions of the said Code are under review for amendment to make it more investor-friendly. Any amendments are expected to be enacted within 2008.
